Interactive Gardens

The entire grounds are landscaped into different gardens. The formal flower beds are inspired by botanical gardens in Denver, Saint Louis, Chicago, and the National Botanical Gardens in D.C. 

The micro-food forests on the property are a mixture of influences. Drawing from the Edible Landscaping exhibits at the Denver Botanical Gardens, and an ancient gardening technique called Hugelkulturs. 

As formal as the gardens may sound each of the installations is cultivated with and for the kids. Mixed in with all the flowers, fruit trees, blueberry bushes, and fruiting plants are slides, a jungle gym, the discovery playscape, dinosaur enclosures, fairy gardens, and pathways. The gardens are truly an enchanting feature of Menagerie Child Care.
